    DAP explained

    Delivered at Place

The seller delivers to your named address, but US customs entry and duties remain yours.

    Full definition

DAP sits between CIF and DDP: the supplier arranges transport to your named place, while unloading, CBP entry, duties and fees stay with you. It suits importers who already have a customs broker and want to keep control of classification and duty treatment without managing the ocean leg.

    Worked examples

    • DAP Dallas warehouse USD 16.50 / pc
