Sourcing pain points× solutions

    Every sourcing problem here
    has a matching fix.

China sourcing rarely breaks in one place — but one node usually holds your delivery hostage. Pick the problem hurting you now, and we will map it to the right scope, the right people and the right evidence.

Select the sourcing problem costing you most

You cannot tell a real factory from a trading desk

The problem is not supplier volume — it is the absence of a real verification gate before you commit.

Polished quotes, very different delivery realityNo way to confirm factory vs. middlemanCapacity or equipment overstated

Sampling loops keep repeating and the schedule slips

Rework is rarely about revision count — it is about specs, drawings and factory understanding never being aligned.

Samples do not match the drawing packTechnical requirements misread on the floorLong revision cycles, slow feedback

Production slips and the ship date is not yours to control

It is not that production is slow. There is no on-site visibility and no one handling exceptions in real time.

No live view of line progressReported status differs from the floorMaterial shortages surface too late

Quality problems only show up after the container lands

The question is not whether goods were inspected — it is whether the problem was stopped before shipment.

Production units drift from the golden sampleNo independent third-party inspectionShort counts or mixed cartons at loading

The wire is out, the delivery is still unsecured

Payment is not the risk. Payment milestones, conditions and release triggers being undefined is the risk.

Deposit share too high, exposure concentratedCooperation drops right after paymentNo contractual release conditions

Once cargo leaves the factory, visibility collapses

Distance is not the issue. No one is connecting the handoffs between export, transit, US customs and final delivery.

Questions US importers ask before they start

How long does it take to find a China supplier that actually fits?

Typical supplier development runs 2–4 weeks depending on category and spec complexity. We shortlist against your requirements first, then run background checks and capacity assessment, so what you see is a supplier that can hold the program — not just one that answered the RFQ.

How do I confirm a supplier is the real factory and not a middleman?

We run on-site factory visits and background checks: business licence verification, equipment and capacity confirmation, plant footprint and headcount review. That verifies the supplier identity and production capability directly, instead of trusting a trading company profile.

Sampling keeps looping. Can it be done right the first time?

Repeat sampling is almost always a spec-alignment failure. We translate drawings, run the technical clarification with the floor, and sign off each sample round against defined criteria, which removes most of the rework and shortens development.

How is production progress actually tracked?

We place people on site for follow-up and scheduled plant visits, reporting line progress, material arrival and schedule status. Shortages, quality drift or line stoppages get handled at the factory in real time, not discovered when the ship date is already at risk.

Do I have to fly to China to inspect goods?

No. Our QC team performs pre-shipment inspection and container loading supervision at the factory. Pricing depends on inspection type, quantity and plant location, and is normally far below the cost of your own trip — while still stopping issues before the container closes.

What if the container is short-shipped or mixed and we only find out later?

Loading supervision verifies carton counts, shipping marks and stow method at the dock with photo evidence. Short counts, mixed cartons or damage found before export can be corrected on the spot, avoiding high-cost returns and warehousing after arrival.

Is paying a China supplier safe? How do we reduce exposure?

We structure payment milestones and contract terms — staged payments, balance released only after inspection passes — so a full prepayment does not leave you without recourse. Supplier background checks screen out records of default before you commit.

Who owns the problem when something goes wrong mid-program?

Every account gets a dedicated project manager and our on-the-ground team in Shenzhen. From development through sampling, production and shipment, one desk owns the communication, the follow-up and the escalation.

Not sure which node is breaking?

Send us the program: category, target dates, current supplier status. We will tell you where the risk actually sits — and what we would handle first.
