Quality Control
DUPRO explained
During Production Inspection
Mid-production check at roughly 20–60% completion, so defects are caught before the whole run is built.
Full definition
DUPRO happens once the line has stabilized and its purpose is to stop a systemic defect from being replicated across the full order. It is close to mandatory for first-time suppliers, complex products (electronics, automotive parts) and compressed schedules. DUPRO plus PSI is the standard pairing; PSI alone leaves you discovering problems when there is no time to fix them.
